Parenting isn’t so much about complex secrets or advanced methodologies; it is mostly just day-in and day-out doing those small relational things that matter. Our parenting pack builds on the simple idea that the child’s heart matters and parents can use basic empathy and common sense to reach it. The lessons give your parents simple and powerful tools such as the three-count and boundaries. It also teaches the pathways to creating courage, kindness and honesty. All of the concepts are written to make it easy for your clients to put into practice right away. And, with the included (and reproducible) worksheets, homework and recaps they are able to keep the information handy for quick reference.

This year we also added five new lessons that will help your clients navigate common character needs of their children. Each lessons points to a character trait that all parents want in their children and gives the researched and known ways to help their children grow into the particular virtue. 11 Modules covering the essentials of parenting including discipline techniques and the importance of parenting with love.
Teaching Parenting: Focuses on both the skills that can be easily learned and applied as well as the heart of parenting.
Learning the Lesson: The first three modules focus on the simple tools every parent should have to help their children learn obedience and discipline. These modules will help your clients understand the need to actively parent and set age appropriate discipline. An Honorable Home: These lessons help parents see the individuality of their children. It teaches them how to help their children thrive in their home and how they can emphasize their children’s strengths and minimize their weaknesses.
Discipline Essentials: Focused on Dr. Dobson’s “Essentials of Discipline” that give both practical and workable advice on raising children in today’s environments. Boundaries With Kids: Covers the important subject of boundaries. Gives parents the tools for raising their kids to take responsibility for their own actions, attitudes, and emotions.
A Generational Impact: Parenting skills are vital! Parents with good parenting skills will raise children who are healthy, both emotionally and physically. This, in turn, will make a difference in the lives of your children’s children.


Monday: Wake Up to Reality - In the intro to the “Have a New Kid by Friday” series Dr. Kevin Leman teaches parents on how to break free from the parent trap. Teaching and “training” your kids from an early age to set them on a good path and guide them to accomplish great things. This session is focused more on the parents and evaluating the parenting style that Is used in each home. By taking some positive action and changing things around your home, it will help you become a better parent.

Tuesday: Caution: Children Growing Up Here - The second segment in the “Have A New Kid by Friday” series focuses on the kids and what needs parents need to be meeting. He covers the Big 8 things that children need from you and how you can help them grow and be close to them as they traverse through life. Thursday: Check Your Attitude at the Door - Segment number four is all about attitude. Dr. Kevin Leman discusses on why kids do and don’t misbehave or act out. He gives you an action plan on what things to do and look out for to help your child with their attitude. He also makes sure that you yourself are checking your own attitude at the door.
