 How Participants Consent to Receive Messages 

BrightCourse is an educational platform used by organizations to deliver parenting and life-skills programs. Organizations using BrightCourse communicate with participants who voluntarily enroll in services and provide consent to receive SMS notifications related to their participation.

This page provides an example of the standardized consent and opt-in process used by organizations utilizing the BrightCourse platform.

Participant Enrollment and Consent 

Participants consent to receive SMS communication during program enrollment or direct interaction with the organization. Consent language includes message frequency disclosure, message and data rate notice, STOP and HELP instructions, and links to Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

Participants must actively provide their phone number before receiving messages.

Enrollment Consent Language

"By providing your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from (Organization Name) regarding parenting lessons, program updates, and support communication delivered through BrightCourse. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Consent is not required to participate."
